2025-26 FCI Scoring of Sealy ISD Facilities:
Maintaining healthy, secure, and safe facilities is accomplished through preventative maintenance and tracking the condition of known repairs needed. One of the metrics widely used and accepted by publicly owned entities is the Facility Condition Index (FCI) Score. The calculation is:
FCI = (Cost of known repairs needed / Campus Replacement Cost (RC)
Scoring calculation of:
0-10% is considered 'Good',
10-25% is considered 'Fair-Good',
25-60% is considered 'Poor - Fair', and
60% + is considered 'Critical'
