Purpose: Students
will be provided with meaningful, practical opportunities to apply
science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts through
robotics. The after-school club will allow for fun, hands-on learning
through real-life problem solving. Students will have the opportunity
to participate on a robotics team through a competitive selection
process. Students who do not make the competitive team will still take
part in robotics lessons and building.
Student Expectations: Membership in the Robotics Club
is contingent on the student exhibiting appropriate behavior and
utilizing their time in a constructive manner. Students will be
expected to do the job they are assigned, work hard to complete
challenges, listen to other people's ideas and take appropriate care of
all equipment.
