Special Education

The Sealy ISD department of special education is committed to providing students with disabilities valuable educational opportunities to prepare them for positive school and post-school outcomes. Students with disabilities receive instruction in the least restrictive environment, are educated with non-disabled peers, and are provided access to general education curriculum and instruction to the extent appropriate for the student.

On-Line Transition and Employment Guide
The Transition and Employment Guide has been developed for students who receive special education services due to a disability. The guide provides helpful information for Transition planning for students and parents. The guide provides information for planning for potential work or educational options for students after high school. Each section has phone numbers, emails, and websites to help you find what you need to access services and resources after high school.

The online Transition and Employment Guide is located on the Region 11 Transition in Texas website. http://www.transitionintexas.org/
